Terms of Service

TapeBuilt edits football plays that the athlete has selected into a finished recruiting reel. For the current service, the athlete chooses the source plays; full-game review and play selection are not included.

TapeBuilt provides video editing only. We are not a recruiting agency, scouting service, placement service or coach outreach service, and we do not represent athletes.

TapeBuilt does not guarantee scholarships, offers, recruiting exposure, coach responses, roster spots or any other outcome.

• You must have the permission or right to provide any footage you submit for editing.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the athlete information you provide.
• Share footage by link or file only. TapeBuilt will never ask for your Hudl password or account login.
• TapeBuilt may decline footage or content it cannot legally or appropriately process.

Athletes under 18 need a parent or legal guardian's approval to apply and to have footage edited by TapeBuilt.

Each reel includes one reasonable revision round — corrections, order changes and limited swaps using footage already provided. It does not include a full rebuild or new footage review.

For the $99 Recruiting Reel, our target turnaround is within 72 hours after we receive all required usable footage and player information. The timer does not start at checkout. This is a target, not a guarantee.

TapeBuilt offers two one-time purchases in USD, processed securely by our payment provider. Neither is a subscription and there are no recurring charges.

Recruiting Reel ($99): one Film Drop producing a horizontal recruiting reel, a 15–30 second vertical social cut, a custom recruiting cover, player identification and one revision round.

Season Pass ($199): four Film Drops during one football season. Each drop produces an updated reel, social cut and cover from newly submitted plays, with one revision round per drop. Unused drops do not carry over to a later season.

Reel length depends on the number and quality of plays you submit; no fixed length is promised. Standard packages edit athlete-selected plays; full-game play selection is not included.

Refunds and cancellations: questions about a charge can be sent to the email below and are handled case by case.

TapeBuilt will only feature a reel or excerpts in its portfolio or on social media when you have given separate permission and the athlete (and a parent or guardian for minors) has approved the final reel.

Intellectual property in the original game footage remains with its lawful owner. TapeBuilt retains rights only in its own original editing, layout and branding elements, subject to your right to use the delivered reel for the athlete's recruiting and personal purposes.
